PayPal USD Crypto
Experiential, sponsorship, and developer programming — 2024–2026
Over 2, I ran a multi-format event program for PayPal Crypto spanning executive experiences, conference sponsorships, and a recurring digital series. The through-line: making PYUSD tangible — putting the product in people's hands rather than on a slide, and meeting three distinct audiences (institutional BD, developers, and the broader crypto community) where each of them already was.
PayPal Executive Food Tour — Singapore
Designed as a business development touchpoint, the Food Tour brought select crypto and fintech leaders through iconic hawker centers — Maxwell, Lau Pa Sat — and an exclusive stop at Taylor Adam speakeasy.
The hook was live PYUSD utility: guests were airdropped PayPal USD on Solana and tipped vendors in stablecoins in real time. We pre-onboarded local vendors with digital wallets and crypto-or-fiat payout options, and supported guests through wallet setup with on-site QR codes and guides.
Capped at 40 guests across two nights, the tour positioned PayPal as a forward-thinking player in real-world crypto utility while opening meaningful BD conversations in a relaxed, culturally rich setting.
Solana Breakpoint — Learning Pod
Beyond the pod, we distributed PYUSD and swag to 1,500+ attendees through a novel Solana Pay integration — turning a giveaway into a first wallet transaction for hundreds of developers.
The placement put PYUSD in front of the exact builders positioned to integrate it, in a teaching format rather than a booth.
PayPal Stable Club Webinars
I produced PayPal's summer and fall webinar series, a recurring digital program built to sustain engagement between live moments. Ten sessions over six months, with speakers from LayerZero, Google Cloud, Stellar, and Arbitrum — each drawing 1,500+ virtual attendees.
The series became the connective tissue for PayPal's developer community, which we branded the PayPal Stable Club. It gave the program a consistent owned channel and extended its reach to the builders who were never going to be in the room.
ETHGlobal Sponsorships
We placed PayPal across ETHGlobal's hackathon circuit — New York, India, and virtual — pairing sponsorship with on-site presence and PYUSD bounties for builders. Across the circuit we engaged 100+ developer teams and awarded $50K+ in prize money.
Hackathons turn sponsorship into product adoption — the deliverable isn't impressions, it's working integrations.
